October 2010
  • JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corporation established Osaka International Refining Company, Limited through an incorporation-type company split. While retaining the business related to Osaka oil refineries, 49% of the stock was transferred to PETROCHINA INTERNATIONAL (JAPAN) CO., LTD.
March 2011
  • Through an absorption-type split, the LP gas business of JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corporation, which was being operated by the former Nippon Oil Corporation and its subsidiary, was combined with the LP gas business of Mitsui Marubeni Liquefied Gas Co., Ltd., resulting in the formation of ENEOS GLOBE Corporation, the newly integrated subsidiary company of JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corporation.

  • ENEOS Corporation's Functional Materials Company is integrated into ENEOS Materials Corporation through an absorption-type split, becoming a direct subsidiary of ENEOS Holdings via a stock dividend.
  • ENEOS Corporation's Resources & Power Company becomes independent and is established as ENEOS Power Corporation, a direct subsidiary of ENEOS Holdings.
